What to do with a tiny orange with a short season?
The creative department was asked to find a unique way to market this sweet little fruit to children and families in the grocery aisle. Branding had never been done in the produce department, so the challenge was exciting. We went from a California Clementine to a California Cutie. The healthy snack kids ask for by name is sweet, seedless, and so easy to peel. The name, the character, and the brand became very quickly known, and today it's hard to find a child that doesn't know what a Cutie is ; )
